We are a charitable Society established in 1973 by Late Dr. P P Job, a visionary leader and a social worker.

MJC is a centre of academic excellence set up in Sulur, Coimbatore, where girl children coming from economically challenged families and diverse backgrounds learn shoulder to shoulder with their more privileged peers, emerging as empowered citizens of the world.

Our Institutions

MJC has three educational institutions which strive to transform the lives of children by educating them, enabling them to acquire employable skills and lead a respectful life; thereby transforming the child into confident young women, ready to take on their world-

• Michael Job Matriculation Higher Secondary School-
  An English medium girls school following the Tamil Nadu State board curriculum, offering schooling from class 1 to 12, in addition to a nursery for toddlers. We have a student strength of 500 students including day scholars and MJC hostel dwellers.
• Michael Job College of Arts and Science for Women-
  Established in 2004, this college is affiliated to Bharathiar University and offers graduation and post-graduation in many streams including Computers, Commerce, Science and Arts. The medium of instruction is English. We have student strength of about 500 and growing!
• Michael Job Memorial College of Education-
  Established in 2004 and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, this college offers teacher training programs of B.Ed. & M.Ed. The college offers an excellent arena for the teachers to be professionally trained and uphold the ethical and moral values of this noble profession.
• Hostel for underprivileged-
  MJC has a hostel is located in the heart of the campus, which lodges about 300 girls who come from economically challenged backgrounds. The large and well ventilated dormitories make for comfortable and collective living.
